Symptom
There was a problem logging onto your mail server.
Your UserName was rejected. Account: 'mail.webzone.net.au', Server: 'pop3.norton.antivirus', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90

Error Number: 0x800CCC91

Solution
Check that the error reported matches the error above. There are several possible causes of this error and the following solution is for only ONE of these possible causes.

The error message above was caused by an anti virus program called Norton AntiVirus. This anti-virus program has been set to scan all email automatically by sitting in-between your mail server and your mail client.

Changing your email settings within Outlook Express will not solve the issue. You need to go to into Norton Anti Virus and change the settings there.

Check your Norton Anti-Virus help for information on configuring the software. You need to adjust your email scanning settings so that Norton Anti-Virus scans emails upon arrival and during sending without interferring with your email server settings.
